Ray Shull Obituary

Mr. Ray Kenneth Shull was born on June 18, 1944 in Fayetteville, TN to the late William Green Shull and Lurlean Hall Shull. He departed this life on May 31, 2024 at Pomeroy Living in Rochester, MI. 

Mr. Shull was an Architectural Engineering graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee where he received several awards for outstanding design projects. Mr. Shull went on to own his own architectural firm, Shull Architect and Designs of Detroit, MI. Mr. Shull had years of diverse experience in the field of architecture, design, planning and construction management with some of the country's leading firms and organizations, including the Ford Motor Company of  Dearborn, Michigan; the University of Michigan; Meharry Medical College of Nashville, TN, and Dayton Hudson Properties of Southfield, Michigan. Mr. Shull was also selected as one of the outstanding young men of America in 1976 by the United States Jaycees.

Mr. Shull leaves to cherish his memory one son: Nolan Shull, Bloomfield, MI; one sister: Lucille Conner, Phoenix, Arizona; one brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Calinda Shull, Fayetteville, TN; five nieces: Deborah Smith, Fayetteville, TN, Ja'Inda Shull White, Atlanta, GA, Jeri Shull, Nashville, TN, Kimberly Conner, Oakland, CA, Willa Shull, CA; four nephews: Derrick Shull, Decatur, AL, Reginald Conners, Phoenix, AR, Justin Dansby, Las Vegas, NV, Bernard Shull, Chicago, IL.
